Mikel Arteta gives Gabriel Magalhaes and Jurrien Timber injury update
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provide a worrying update on Gabriel Magalhaes and Jurrien Timber ahead of next week’s showdown with Real Madrid.

Timber withdrew from international duty last week due to illness but was passe. Fit to return to club duty this week.
Arsenal are in action at the Bernabeu next week in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final with doubts now hanging over two of their first-choice defenders.
Speaking in his post-match press conference, Arteta told reporters: ‘Gabriel and Jurrien, we don’t know how they’re going to be. We will be assessing them tomorrow.
‘Gabi felt something in his hamstring. We don’t know how big that is.
‘With Jurrien he was already struggling early. He couldn’t continue.’
Ben White was not included in the Arsenal squad with Arteta revealing a minor injury issue ahead of kick-off.
With Riccardo Calafiori also sideline with a knee problem, it leaves Arsenal with a major crisis at the back for one of their biggest games of the season.
Arsenal’s other available options at the back are William Saliba, Kiwior, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney with Thomas Partey another option for right-back.
